Serengeti: Zentralserengeti

Während man in der südlichen Serengeti kaum auf andere Safariautos trifft, sieht es in der Zentral Serengeti anders aus. Zwar ist man die meiste Zeit ungestört und recht allein, wurde aber ein eher selteneres Tier entdeckt, häufen sich an der Stelle manchmal die Autos. Z.B. bei Löwen, Leoparden oder wie hier, vielen Elefanten. Aber auch landschaftlich und von der Tierwelt her ist die Zentralserengeti anders als die südliche Serengeti: kleine Palmeninseln wie Oasen durchbrechen die Landschaft und es gibt weite Ebenen. Man trifft plötzlich weniger Gnus,Antilopen und Gazellen, dafür aber Elefanten, Giraffen und Löwen.

 While you rarely meet other Safaricars in the southern Serengeti there is more traffic in the central Serengeti. Most of time you are even there for your own but if there is an attraction like lions, leopards or lots of elefants you meet more of them. But also the landscape and the kinds of animals you see mostly are different: there are palms and wide plains and instead of lots of antilops and gazelles you see more giraffes, elephants and lions (even if there for sure still are antilopes and gazelles).
