Es ist gegen 5, die goldenen Sonnenstrahlen reichen noch gerade so bis zu dem Feldweg, auf dem ich mit unserem Hund Celina spazieren gehe. Zufällig schaue ich an den Feldrand. Zufällig liegt genau in meinem Blickfeld ein Mäuseloch. Und ganz zufällig leuchten aus ausgerechnet diesem Loch zwei Mäuseaugen. Ich geh also näher ran und beginne Fotos zu machen, doch die Augen bleiben da.
Its nearly 5 pm, the last golden sunlight reaches for the last few minutes the path where me and our dog Celina are walking. Randomly I'm looking at the other side of the path. Randomly exactly there where I'm looking is a mouse hole. And randomly exact from this mouse hole there are looking two eyes back on me. I'm taking a few steps towards it while I'm taking pictures. The eyes are staying where they are.
I'm ordering Celina to stay where she is because I'm afraid my mouse will become a victim of her.
Diese wird wagemutig. The mouse is getting daring.
Und verlässt schließlich, nachdem ich einen Abstand zu ihr von maximal 15 cm habe, ihr Loch und flitzt ins Nächste :) And finally when I'm only just about 15cm away from it it leaves its hole and speeds to the next one to look at me from there :)
