Tanzanias Süden, Litembo

Ganz im Süden Tanzanias, nahe der Grenze zu Mosambique und dem Lake Nyassa (auch bekannt unter Malawisee) und inmitten eines Gebirges liegt das kleine Dorf Litembo, die Einsatzstelle Franziskas, einer anderen Freiwilligen von IN VIA, mit der wir unterwegs waren und die wir nun besuchen wollten. Das Klima ist kühl, für uns geradezu kalt, kann es doch morgens sogar nur 4 Grad haben. Dafür gibt es hier endlich nicht mehr nur Instantkaffe, sondern allerbesten, frischgerösteten Kaffe direkt aus der Region, denn hier ist Kaffeanbaugebiet =) In the far South of Tanzania, not far from the border to Mosambique and Lake Nyassa (also known as Lake Malawi) and within the mountains there is the little village of Litembo. Litembo is the working place of Franziska, another volunteer of IN VIA with whom we have been travelling and who we wanted to visit. In Litembo it is kind of cold, at least for us. It can get like 4 degrees in the morning here at the moment. But there is fresh coffe and not just instant coffe like in Mwanza because it is coffe region =)

Gebirge, was tut man da? Natürlich Wandern! Unser Ziel: natürlich der höchste Berg in der Umgebung, der Kiningema. Mountains means what? Hiking! Our destination: the Likingema.
