Endlich 2013!
Das Jahr des nächsten Kirchentages.
Da das natürlich nicht verpasst werden darf, gehts morgen los nach Hamburg.
Das Motto ist diesmal "So viel du brauchst".
Finally it's 2013!
The year of the next Kirchentag.
Because that shouldn't be missed tomorrow I'm going to Hamburg.
The motto this time is "as much as you need".

Kaiserkrone

Die Kaiserkrone ist eine Felsgruppierung mit 3 Spitzen, welche Aussichtspunkte sind.
Sie ist nahegelegen der Tschechischen Grenze und liebt neben dem Zirkelstein.
Letzten Mittwoch konnte ich dort die Nachmittagssonne gemeinsam mit meinen Großeltern genießen.
Besonders gut kann man von dort die Schrammsteine sehen.
The Kaiserkrone is a group of rocks with three tops which are lookouts.
It is near the czech frontier and next to the Zirkelstein and I visited it last wednesday together with my grandparents.One can very good see the Schramsteine from there.

Marie Louise Stolln Bergießhübel

Samstag vor der Konfirmation konnte ich noch einmal etwas mit meinen Großeltern unternehmen, diesmal auch mit meinem Bruder. Und da an diesem Tag das größte Meeting in Struppen des Jahres stattfand, das Haus- und Hoffest der Landfleischerei, wurde dieses natürlich glatt besucht.
Dort wimmerlte es von Leuten, aber letztendlich kamen wir alle zu einem Mittagessen und ich konnte ein Foto eines Rindergespannes aus Radeberg machen.
Saturday before the confirmation I could spend some more time with my grandparents and this time withmy brother, too. This day in Struppen the biggest meeting of the year took place: the house and farm festival.
So we went there. It was crawling with people but in the end we became our lunch and I could take a picture of a team of oxen.

 Anschließend fuhren wir nach Bergießhübel in das Besucherbergwerk "Marie Louise Stolln".
Hier wurde lange Zeit Eisenerz abgebaut, unter anderem auch für die Brücke "Blaues Wunder" in Dresden.
Heute ist in dem Bergwerk kein Eisenerz mehr zu finden und so wurde es stillgelegt und als Besucherbergwerk ausgebaut.
After that we drove to Bergießhübel to visit the mine "Marie Lousie Stolln". From there iron ore was won from which for example the bridge "Blaues Wunder" in Dresden was built.
Today the mine is shut and open to visitors.

Barockgarten Großsedlitz

Diesen Sonntag hatte mein Bruder Konfirmation. Aus diesem Anlass sind natürlich auch meine Großeltern aus Süddeutschland nach Sachsen gekommen, so dass ich einige Tage mit ihn verbringen konnte.
Und am Freitag waren wir zusammen im Barockgarten Großsedlitz in Heidenau.
Der Barockgarten ist eine spätbarocke Anlage, die Christoph August Graf von Wackerbarth sich 1721 als Altersruhesitz bauen lies.Doch bald nach Fertigstellung kaufte August der Starke das Schloss mit Orangerie und Park und gestaltete es bis 1731 um. Der Garten umfasst etwa 18 Hektar. Er ist terassenförmig angelegt und im Park stehen viele Sandsteinstatuen. Momentan blühen zwischen all denn Hecken auch überall die Buschwindrösschen und im Sommer gibt es viele Zitrusbäume zu bewundern.
Ein Ausflug nach Großseglitz lohnt sich also immer und so natürlich auch dieses Mal =)
This sunday my brother had confirmation. thats the reason why my grandparents from Souht Germany came to Saxony so I could enjoy a few days with them.
Friday we went to Barockgarten (baroque garden) Großsedlitz in Heidenau.
Christoph August Graf von Wackerbarth let it build as a senority domicil in 1721. Just a few years later August der Starke bought the castle, the orangery and the park and modified it until 1731.
The garden involves 18 hectares and is constructed with many terraces.
At the moment there are a lots of anemones in flower in the hedges and in summer there are lots of citruses to see. Everytime a trip to Großsedlitz is great and so also this time =)

Neue Freiheit

Sonnenschein, Wärme, blauer Himmel...der perfekte Tag, um den Garten kennen zu lernen.

Das haben heute die Küken (zugegeben, mit menschlicher Hilfe) beschlossen und deshalb gleich umgesetzt.

Sunshine, Warmth, blue sky...the perfect day to get to know to the garden.

Thats what the chicks thought today and so they directly implemented it (of course with human help).

Bei einer Herde von 10 Küken ist das Beaufsichtigen allerdings anstengender, als man es von 10 Winzlingen erwartet. Aber da diese nicht etwa als gemeinsamer Haufen durch den Garten laufen, sondern die Hälfte hier hin und die andere Hälfte dorthin, sind sie immer im ganzen Garten verstreut, so dass man ständig dabei ist, sie alle zusammen zu halten.
Sehr amüsant ist dabei zu beobachten, wenn sie sich um vertrocknete Blätter streiten, misstrauisch Regenwürmer begutachten oder ein Sonnenbad genießen.
The supervision over 10 chicks is not as easy as it is to anticipate from 10 little pipsqueaks.
They just don't walk through the garden as a bunch. One half of them goes in this direction, the others in the opposite direction, so it's a full time job.
Very amusing to watch is when they haunt each other because of dry up leaves, when they look distrustful at earthworms or enjoy a sun-bath.

Da allerdings so ein Rundgang durch den Garten sehr anstrengend ist, folgt auf das ganze Rumgerenne immer mal wieder ein kleines Schläfchen, welches besonders in Haufenform recht interessant aussieht.
Because a tour through the garden is very exertive, after all the running there are sometimes little sleeps following. Especially in buchform that looks very interessting.

Märzenbecherwiesen

Im Polenztal in der nähe von Stolpen gibt es jedes Jahr im Frühling was ganz besonderes: hunderte an Märzenbechern, die in der Aue der Polenz wachsen.
Aus diesem Grund findet dort auch jedes Frühjahr eine Menge Menschen.
Viele rennen mit Kamera rum und versuchen, die Märzenbecher bestmöglich abzubilden. Aber es gibt auch die Pärchen und Familien, die gemeinsam irgendwo ein wenig abseits auf einem Baumstamm sitzen, die Sonne genießen und die Märzenbecher bewundern. Und natürlich die, die einfach nur spazieren gehen.
Ich gehöre natürlich zu den ersteren. =)
In the valley of the brook Polenz in the near of Stolpen there is every year in spring something special to see:
hundreds snowflakes are growing in the wetlands of the Polenz.
And thats the reason why there are every spring lots of people, too.
Plenty of them are running around with their camera, trying to fotoghraph the snowflakes as best as possible.
But there are also the couples and families which are enjoing the sun and the snowflakes aside the way on a tree trunk or in the gras.
And  there are those who just walk through the snowflake meadows enjoing them.
Of course I belong to the first category. =)

Eine Hand voll Leben

Dresden

Das ist also Dresden. Eine Stadt mit vielen ganz verschiedenen Stadtteilen.
Die Altstadt und die Innere Neustadt mit ihren historischen Bauwerken, die Äußere Neustadt als Szeneviertel und die andere Elbseite mit den Villenvierteln Weißer Hirsch, Loschwitz und Wachwitz sowie das Schloss Pillnitz und das Schönfelder Hochland.
So that is Dresden. A city with lots of different quarters.
The Altstadt and the Innere Neustadt with the historical buildings, the Äußere Neustadt as a scene quarter  and the other side of the Elbe with the villa quarters Weißer Hirsch, Loschwitz and Wachwitz, the castle Pillnitz and the Schönfelder Hochland.

Mit ihren Elbwiesen und den vielen Dresdner Alleen ist Dresden eine der grünsten Städten Europas.

With lots of alley and the Elb meadows Dresden is one of the greenest cities of Europe.

Villenviertel Dresden Wachwitz, Loschwitz und Weißer Hirsch

Dresden Wachwitz, Loschwitz und Weißer Hirsch sind Villenviertel Dresdens.
Sie liegen weiter Flussabwärts von Pillnitz aus, also zwischen Pillnitz und dem Blauen Wunder, einer historischen Brücke, die die beiden Elbseiten miteinander verbindet.
Direkt am blauen Wunder liegt Dresden Loschwitz, weiter oberhalb der Elbhänge der Weiße Hirsch. Von den dortigen Villas hat man meist einen schönen Blick über Dresden, ungefähr wie vom Schönfelder Hochland aus. Deshalb zieht sich durch dieses Viertel auch die Dresdner Standseilbahn.
Weiter an der Elbe stromaufwärts Richtung Pillnitz liegt Wachwitz.
Dresden Wachwitz, Loschwitz and Weißer Hirsch are the villa quarters of Dresden.
They are located downriver from Pillnitz so they are between Pillnitz and the blue wonder, a historical brisge which connects the both sides of the Elbe.
Near to the blue wonder there is Dresden Loschwitz and above the slope there is Dresden Weißer Hirsch.
From the villas there you have a beautiful view above Dresden like from the highland of Schönfeld.
Thats why the fanicular of Dresden goes through this quarter.
More upstream in the direction of Pillnitz there is located Wachwitz, also a villa quarter.

Schönfelder Hochland und Dresdner Heide

 

Die Dresdner Heide grenzt direkt an die Weinberge oberhalb von Pillnitz und an das Villenviertel Weißer Hirsch, welches weiter elbabwärts liegt, an. oberhalb der Elbhänge geht sie dann in ein offenes Hochland über: das Schönfelder Hochland.

The heathland of Dresden is about on the vineyard above Pillnitz and obout the quarter of villas "Weißer Hirsch". Above the slopes of the Elbe it changes over in an open landscape: the highland of Schönfeld.

 

Von da aus hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht über Dresden.

From there you have a wonderful view over Dresden.

Die Landschaft ist ländlich und geprägt durch Wiesen und viele Obstbäume, vorallem Kirschbäume, was das Schönfelder Hochland besonders zur Obstbaumblüte im Frühjahr attkraktiv macht.

The landscape is countrified and is formed by meadows and fruittrees (mainly cherry trees) which makes the highland of Schönfeld especially attractive in spring when the trees are in flower.

Pillnitz

Pillnitz ist eines der so genannten Elbdörfer, welche zu Dresden gehören. Gelegen ist es direkt an der Elbe unterhalb der Elbhänge, auf welchen sich die bewirtschafteten königlichen Weinberge erstrecken.
Es befindet sich auf der gleichen Elbseite wie die Dresdner Neustadt, allerdings weiter Elbaufwärts.
Pillnitz ist ein alter Ort mit vielen Villen und wird besonders durch das bekannte Schloss Pillnitz geprägt.
Pillnitz is one of the so calles Elbe villages which belong to Dresden. It is located directly on the river Elbe below the elbslopes on which the royal vineyards are sprawling.
It is on the same side of the Elbe like Dresden-Neustadt but upstreams.
Pillnitz is a village with a lots of villas and its especially affected by the popular castle Pillnitz.

August der Starke schenkte das im 16. Jahrhundert erbaute Schloss einst seiner Mätresse Gräfin von Cosel, welche er später jedoch auf Burg Stolpen einsperren lies.
Schloss Pillnitz besteht aus drei großen Gebäuden und einigen kleinen. Die drei Hauptgebäude sind das Wasserpalais, dem Bergpalais und dem Neuen Palais.
Umgeben wird Schloss Pillnitz von einem Park, in welchem sich, neben sehr vielen zahmen Eichhörnchen, die Baumsammlung August des Starken befindet. Zu dieser zählen beispielsweise auf Olivenbaumstümpfe gepfropfte Flieder. Eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit im Pillnitzer Schlosspark ist die Pillnitzer Kamelie, welche mit einem Alter von 230 Jahren eine der ältesten Japanischen Kamelien in Europa ist.
August the Strong gave the castle which was built in the 16th century to his fancy woman countess of Cosel which he later imprisoned in the castle of Stolpen. Castle Pillnitz consists of three big buildings and a few little ones. The three big ones are the palace of water (Wasserpalais), the palace of mountain (Bergpalais) and the new palace (Neues Palais). The castle is surrounded by a park in which a lots of tame squirrels and the tree collection of August the Strong can be find. For example there are old lilacs which have olive tree trunks.
Another sight in the park is the camellia of Pillnitz. With an age of 230 years it is one of the eldest japanese camellias of Europe.

Gerade im Abendlicht hat Schloss Pillnitz einen besonderen Reiz.

Especially in the sunlight of the evening Pillnitz is something special.

Pillnitz ist unter anderem auch durch eine Autofähre von Dresden-Blasewitz aus erreichbar.

Pillnitz is amongst others accessible with a car ferry which goes from Dresden-Blasewitz.

Pillnitz ist für mich ein Stück Kindheit. Früher, als ich mit meinen Eltern und meiner Schwester noch in Dresden wohnten, kamen wir oft hier her. Zum Kastanien sammeln in der Kastanienallee, zum Eichhörchen füttern, auf Bäume klettern oder zum Spazieren gehen.

Pillnitz kann man von Dresden aus über das blaue Wunder, oder aber mit der Autofähre von Dresden-Blasewitz aus erreichen.Leider ist der Eintritt ins Schloss und den Schlosspark nicht mehr frei, und so ist der Park, welcher durch dresdner Familien, Mütter und Ehepaare belebt wurde nun nur noch eine Sehenswürdigkeit für Touristen.

For me Pillnitz is a part of my childhood. When I was a child and lived with my parents and my sister in Dresden we often visited Pillnitz to collect conckers, climb on trees, feed squirrels or just to walk through the park. Today the entrance to castle Pillnitz isn't (against a lots of protests) free anymore. 

The lots of families, mothers and couples from Dresden which enlived the park before aren't there anymore and so the castle and its park is now just a sight for tourists.

Dresden Hechtviertel

Das Hechtviertel, welches schon zum Stadtteil Leipziger Vorstadt gehört, liegt direkt gegenüber der Äußeren Neustadt.
Es ist ein Wohnviertel Dresdens, das einen ähnlichen Charme hat wie die Äußere Neustadt, alllerdings nicht so belebt ist, da es nicht so bekannt ist. Auch hier gibt es Kneipen, Künstlerateliers und Galerien und es ist ein Junge Szene-Viertel mit viel Kunst und Musik.
The Hechtviertel which belongs to the quarter Leipziger Vorstadt is located on the oppposited of the Äußere Neustadt. Its charm is alike the charm of the äußere Neustadt but it is less busy because its not so popular.
Here are bars, artist's workshops and galleries and it is a youth szene-quarter, too with a lot of music and art.
